This scholarship is awarded to a Warwick High School student who represents intelligence, leadership and concern for his/her community. Special consideration will be given to students who are actively making a difference in their community.  We also consider if the student has overcome certain obstacles in their lifetime, however this is not a requirement.

Kelly Sullivan was awarded the $2500.00 HERo Scholarship. Kelly is a leader and scholar who served with Student Government, Student Council, Students Against Destructive Decisions, National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Model United Nations and more. Kelly demonstrated community service through her involvement with numerous community organizations, including Warwick Volunteer EMS Junior Corps, Wounded Warrior Project, and her work as a camp counselor. She also organized a fundraiser for Beautiful People:  Adaptive Sports for Children with Disabilities in 2018, raising over $1000 for children. She plans to attend Albany College of Pharmacy after graduation, and she has already been accepted for a Masters Program in Physician Assistant Studies at Albany Medical College.
